SSP Musical Theater "Oklahoma"
This Pulitzer and Tony award winning musical by Rodgers and Hammerstein is the king of the Golden Age of American Musicals. Farmers and cowboys try to figure out how to get along in a new territory that's about to become a state. Curly and Laurie are in love, but are too stubborn to admit it. Will and Ado Annie are also in love, but also too stubborn to make it work. Jud's anger and vindictiveness threatens to tear it all apart. Featuring songs like "Oh What a Beautiful Morning" and "I'm Just a Girl Who Can't Say No", this show is sure to mesmerize the whole family. This play is open to actors in grades 9 through adults. There is a $85 fee to participate in this production.
