Know Your Muslim Neighbor
Class covers the basic Islamic belief system and commonalities and differences. It is geared toward honest discussion with time for Q & A. There is often curiosity about the lifestyle of Muslims but no platform to ask and learn. The importance of family and community will be discussed and light food will be served. Bring your own beverage.
Mashood Yunus

Originally from Pakistan, Mashood came to Minnesota and the United States in 1992. He has two Bachelor's Degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Minnesota State in Mankato. Mashood is very involved in volunteer-run classes in the local community. He has taught Quranic Arabic locally for 17 years.

Thus, we aim to bring Muslims from all backgrounds to work together for the community’s well-being through means that are supported by authentic Islamic teachings – to enjoin good, help those in need, and above all, follow the commandments of Allah.
