Level 2- Fundamental Aquatic Skills (Ages: 5+)

Objective: To give students success with fundamental skills

Requirements: Students entering this level must possess a Level 1 certificate or demonstrate all the Level 1 skills on day one of class.

Skills Taught: Entering water by stepping or jumping in from the side, rotary breathing, submerging entire head, blowing bubbles, open eyes underwater, front and back glide, treading water, swim 15 feet on front and back, swimming on side, use of a life jacket.

Course format: Classes run 30 minutes with 6 students per instructor
