Join the MN DNR’s Fishing in the Neighborhood (FiN) program for a fun, family-friendly evening of fishing! Designed for ages 5 and up, each youth must be accompanied by an adult. ZEBCO School of Fish is a fishing class open to kids from grades 1 (if in grades 1-3 they will need an adult to stay with them during class) and up taught by Fishing the Midwest TV show host Mike Frisch. Students learn about lakes, finding fish, and great ways to catch them. They also learn to tie a fishing knot and rig and use a slip-bobber setup. Kids get: rod and reel, hat or t-shirt, tackle box with tackle, and workbook. One adult can attend with a child at no additional charge, provided they share one equipment packet.
