    Wizards of Chess, Chess Club! Join us in learning this National Award Winning Program! Learning the game of chess promotes imagination, creativity, develops memory, teaches independence, inspires self-motivation, and develops a logical way of thinking. Students of all levels are welcome. Yes, even if your student does not know how to play, we will teach them! Each session is filled with different material, and all learning is done with encouragement and fun on an individual personal level! All in-class equipment is provided.   • Pilot Knob: Beginning Ukulele with Mr. Oppenheim (Grades: 2-4)

    Students will learn basic chords and strumming patterns to play songs on the ukulele. No need to own a ukulele; instruments will be provided for the lessons. Students will enjoy learning to play simple beginner songs. Taught by Pilot Knob 2nd Grade Teacher, Mr. Oppenheim
  • Pilot Knob: Engineering for Kids Junior STEM Club Spring (Grades: K-4)

    Calling all future engineers! It’s time to develop your critical thinking, problem solving and collaboration skills through engineering disciplines. Jump into an exciting new school year with all-new lessons! Whether you're a new or returning student, the Engineering For Kids Jr. Engineering/STEM Club offers hands-on, engaging activities each week to spark curiosity and creativity. Students will explore engineering concepts while developing essential 21st-century skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork—building confidence to tackle challenges in and out of the classroom. Spring Session: Order may vary: Mechanical Engineering Mini Trampoline Spring into action! Students explore elasticity and energy transfer as they build and test a mini trampoline. Civil Engineering Bird's Self-Propelled Boat Make a splash with engineering! Students learn about buoyancy and propulsion, then create a boat that moves on its own. Mechanical Engineering Straw Grabber Grab, lift, and move like a pro! Students investigate simple machines, then build a straw-based grabber to pick up small objects. Electrical Engineering Constellation Projector Light up the night sky! Students learn about circuits and astronomy while creating a projector that displays constellations on the wall or ceiling.
  • Pilot Knob: Co-ed Soccer with DASH Sports (Grades: K-4)

    Soccer: DASH Sports soccer camps provide players a well-rounded soccer experience covering a broad range of soccer skills training (dribbling, passing, shooting, & defense) and skill-based games. Players will be challenged and grouped at an appropriate level while receiving instruction in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage on the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (spikes and shin guards are optional). Balls are provided.
  • Pilot Knob: Co-ed Flag Football with DASH Sports (K-4)

    DASH Sports flag football camps provide players with a well-rounded football experience in a little to no contact safe environment. Key elements of passing, catching, rushing, and defense will be taught and practiced, and players will be grouped and challenged at an appropriate level in a fun, positive environment while learning values of ‘Respect, Hustle, and Pride’. Camp ends with a scrimmage the final day. Athletes should bring a water bottle (cleats and mouthguards are optional). Footballs and flag belts are provided. Taught by DASH Sports Instructors
