Middle School - 7th and 8th Grade Jazz Band

Jump into the world of jazz! Students will explore styles from around the globe, including Blues, Bebop, Afro-Cuban, Big Band, Latin, Funk, Rock, and more, while learning beginning improvisation and basic blues scales. Students are expected to practice and review music before rehearsals. The Jazz Band will perform at school concerts and other events throughout the year. Continued effort in concert band classes is required to remain a member of the Jazz Band.
