StrongHer: Self Defense for Senior Women (and Open to Ages 14+)Lifelong LearningDesigned especially for senior women who want to feel confident, aware and prepared, this workshop focuses on practical skills you can use in real life. Learn how to prevent attacks before they happen. We welcome women age 14+, but special attention will be given to techniques that are realistic and adaptable for older adults. Modifications will be offered to ensure comfort and safety for all. You will practice techniques using striking pads, so dress comfortably for light movement. Summer Cupcake FunCulinary ArtsLearn how to create your own spectacular decorated cupcakes. Using buttercream icing we will create hydrangeas, sunflowers, ice cream sundaes and more. Learn some basic techniques that work on larger cakes too. Decorate 10 cupcakes in class to take home. There is a supply fee of $12 per student in this class.Adult Enrichment 2025-2026 -

Summer Livegreen Conservation Crew3: Camps Starting the Week of June 22Students in the summer Conservation Crew will go on a nature walk each day and do an art or garden activity- painting, planting, and playing outdoors. We will learn about the native plants that grow around our school. We will replant some tomato & herb plants and see how big we can grow our tomatoes before we harvest them to make salsa on our last day. Starting SoonSummer Open Swim at SSP Central Square!AquaticsThe SSP outdoor lap pool sadly is closed this summer:( Come swim inside at Central Square for Open Swim!Mondays 3:00-5:00pm and 5:30-7:30pmTuesdays 11:15am-2:00pm and 5:30-7:30pmThursdays 11:15am-2:00pm and 5:30-7:30pm All ages welcome when accompanied by a parent/adult guardian. **Must sign in at the front desk to verify online registration or pay session fee.**Online registration open until 8:00pm day before time session. Minimum attendance must be met for session to remain open. Drop-ins welcome if session has met minimum attendance. Children 6 and under must have an adult in the water. Diving board is open for any swimmer who passes the deep water swim test. Want some game time in the water with other swimmers? Swim Club at Central Square is just the place to build up your swimming muscles and enjoy the water. Workouts will include water safety skills, building fitness as a swimmer and fundamentals of using the diving board. Registration requirement: Completed Red Cross Learn-to-Swim Level 4 or equivalent.
